Default side post battery threads

The bolt on the + side terminal won't tighten. I keep thinking it's going to back itself out one day on I-45 rush hour.
I've been using a terminal extender and when I used it on a new battery it slips, and now it slips on the old battery too. Looking for a good fix!

They are 38" NC, cut into lead - and if they have been overtightened, they strip out, and the threaded parts can constantly fall out.

Been there --- done it.

I think the correct torque is 11in/lbs., but if not --- it's very low.

I got a new extender, same kind, and it tightened right up. Now I'm thinking I was tightening up the nut on the end (function unknown) instead of the one in the middle 🙄
