squealing noise
hi all
i have having a hard time to find out what this squealing noise is coming from.
it only happens in reverse. and im sure it is coming from the rear left tire
all the brakes/rotors are new (AC delco), and i have replaced both rear calipers(both needed to be done anyways since the rubbers were gone and not letting the wheel move freely)
so i am stumped, my last thought would be the e-brake?
any help?
thanks

Check the shims. I had a weird noise like this and it was just something about the direction of travel that made the rotor ride a bit closer to one side and it would scrap against the rotor. Drove me crazy for a bit. I don't know how many times I took everything apart.
If it isn't that, then it is possible that it is the e-brake. Watch out, the internal band is quite expensive if you have to replace it.

When I was starting the car, it makes an annoying noise but as I drive, it does continues especially even when my car is warmed up. The belt isn't the problem I guess, could it be the alternator pulley bearing?
