Default Starter Bendix keeps kicking back in before starting

OK sorry if this question has already been asked i searched but didn't see it anywhere...
I just did a complete overhaul on my 1999 Chevy S-10 Blazer. It had caught on fire in June and burnt most everything on the right side of the motor. I replaced the engine wireless harness heater blower and all. After a month or so of issues getting it timed and everything i finally got it started. Started a lil slower than I remembered but started fine for the most part. Well even after it started I noticed my fuel and my temperature gauges weren't working. I thought maybe my computer was damaged from the heat and attempted to change the computer. Well I had another computer that i pulled out of the truck that my new (to me) motor had come out of. It didn't fix it so i put the other computer back in. Now when I try to start it the start engages and bendix will kick out for a second and right as it tries to start the bendix kicks back in. I've tried resetting multiple times and thats not fixing it. I pulled the starter and took it to O'reilly and it checked good. Any suggestions on getting the truck

Weak starter solenoid or faulty wiring to the solenoid. Did the starter come with the replacement motor? Did you replace the battery cables and the wiring down to the starter?

yeah I felt like it was a weak soleniod myself but when i had it tested it pass 3 times. Its still the original starter that was on my truck the new motor didn't come with a starter. I replaced all the wiring on the truck the only thing that wasn't replaced was the wiring that came on the motor. I would think that maybe the starter is just weak and the bindex is kicking back in when its under a load except for the fact that it started before I tried changing the computer which makes me wonder if its not an electrical sensor or security sensor telling it to kick back in?
