1999 Blazer 2WD 4.3 4dr.

Hi, trying to hunt down the slop in my steering and I've replaced just about everything, tie rods, steering box, hubs, control arms, rag joint just from general maintenance, but the slop remains.

I was thumbing through he steering manual and came across this:


Which appears to be GM part number 26026564 for the tilt steering.

The manual doesn't explicitly state how to replace this part, so has anyone replaced it before? Able to do it in the truck or should I go ahead and pull the entire assembly?
