today i was looking for my wiring in the rear of my blazer, however i cant find squat, does anyone know where it is or how i can hook up a trailer wire? I have a Draw-Tite Activator Brake Controller, I hooked up my B+ and Grd Wires, i just have to find the Brake Wire and Stoplight wires for that. I however cant find the trailer wires in back, Btw does anyone know the color of the brake wire and stoplight wire?

If the vehicle has the trailer tow option, the wire harness is bundled up with a zip tie behind the rear bumper, in the center. The wires are just pig tails and you'll need to splice onto them to lengthen them. The brake wire is blue.
If it's not equipped, most auto parts stores, Sears, and Wal-Mart sell a plug in harness, no splicing involved, just plug it into the existing vehicle harness. Those kits DO NOT come with wiring for trailer brakes.

so i wired up my Drawtite brake contoller today, Pos, Neg and the Stoplight Wire. My Blazer did not come with a tow package at all, i went behind today and saw a wire loom that ran across with wires but that looked to be for brake lights etc not sure though. Where can i get the harness that is for everything and how and where do i splice it in? my brake contoller now just needs me to run the brake wire to the rear of the truck. I need the 7 pin one though. Where do i get this and how much? thanks
