Default Transmission Cooler

This weekend I am going to be pulling my engine. I had a couple of questions in regards to the transmission cooler:

When I pull the lines off of the cooler, will the transmission fluid drain from the lines and out of the transmission itself? If so is there a way to keep that from happening?

Any Suggestions?

if ur pulling the engine ull only have to dissconect the lines off the radiator. u will loose some fluid but u can cap it off with a rag or tape.

the ends of the tranny "cooler" lines are higher than the transmission so you wont lose much at all. just make sure that you check everything when you are ready to start it back up after the re-install.
