Default Transmission Crossmember

2003 Blazer ZR2 2-Dr Auto

So my transmission crossmember finally fell victim to salt corrosion and rust from living on the coast. Searching salvage yards for a compatible replacement and cant find anything local. Are the crossmembers for ZR2s particular to that config only? Or would a part from a non-high/wide package LS be the same part?

As far as I can tell the part number is 15148807 and some GM parts websites show fitment for LS, Xtreme & ZR2. Just wondered if anyone can confirm this is accurate?

I can't tell you if the same cross member works across the three platforms or not, but it shouldn't be to hard to fab one up if you are able to. If not, a competent shop should be able to do it for not too much.
