Hi,I have a 2000 Blazer,i can hear my turn signal relay on all the time making the blinking noise except when i apply the break it goes off the turn sigs work but the blinker noise is driving me crazy,i replaced the relay today now when i turn the key its a buzzing sound,do i need to replace the whole turn signal unit odoes someone have a fix? Until then music is turned up..... OK the correct name is the thermal flasher is what im hearing? not relay

 

I had the same problem with my 2000 Jimmy about a year ago. I replaced the multi-function switch on the column and that solved the problem. Hope this helps.

 

maybe try an ELECTRIC flasher instead of a thermal one, I honestly dont know if that will help or not, but worth a shot for $10

P.S.if anyone ever has this problem with your multifunction switch,try the above first,it really worked for me and can save you $$$$ When I took mine apart I first sprayed it with CRC electronic cleaner i mean soak it good to get all the old grease and dirt out then clean it with q-tips...fixed
