Default turn signal sound

alright, right after i replace my foglight this happens haha. I turn on the car and i hear the turn signal on, i tried to switch the shaft to right and left a few times and even the hazards on and off, but it still is goin. The two very odd things are that first, whenever i brake it stop, Then whenever I hold the hazard all the way down, like if i put a piece of tape over it tightly, it would stop too. I dont know if it maybe the hazard switch is loose, if that could even happen, but it also made a wierd cranking sound, w/ or w/o the hazard held down.

It's your multi-function switch (turn signals, head lights, wipers and 4-way cluster). Mine went that way early on (2000 Blazer) and Chevy fixed it under a safety recall for the 4-way switch conking out and taking out the brake lights. It failed again and I was told that safety recalls don't get a second fix if it fails again. I ordered the part and followed the tech bulletin instructions and all was good. Take it to the dealer and see if they will do the recall fix first....Envoys, Jimmys and Blazers as well as a few others were covered. A word of advice if you do it yourself. The directions tell you to unhook the harness to the MF switch before you unhook the airbag connector safety restraining clip. I used all manner of medical instruments to perform that task only to find out that if you take the airbag connector off first you can get to the main connector much more easily and without excercising you "adult" vocabulary. It is a 4 hour job.
