I have a 96 blazer, about a month ago when I went to park the shifter won't go into park, it would stop at reverse. I could side under and shift it by hand on the side of the trans. Ive been driving it and just parking it in reverse and e-brake and to start it shift it into netuel. I have tried cleaning everything, it seems to be getting worse it feels like it is stiffer like the cable isn't strong enough. at the colume everthing moves freely. I have 204k on this trans, is it something inside the trans or is the cable going back? Does some have a suggestion for me?
