Exactly, it gives people more ideas, possibilities that they can work into what they're doing.

Yup, this is still being read by at least one newb. I don't know when I'll get around to putting lights on mine, but this is one of the first threads I subscribed. Looks great, far better than what I managed back in the 80's (last time I installed lights there was a small fire under the dash. Maybe I'll use fuses this time )

And to my fellow Americans - Rt hand drive vehicles are fairly easy to get used to. Even shifting with you left hand isn't bad ... No, the controls are easy. Surviving a right turn was the hard part (there were many angry Micks on the streets of Dublin that day!)

Thanks again

I really like this light bar. Its definitively on my mod list now. Where did you get the bar itself?

Im thinking about making a "Cheap light bar how to" just to give people more options as far as the light bar goes. all the light bars that I've found are 50-100$ and with a quick trip to my favorite shopping center (Pick N' Pull) i found just about everything for 10$

Ryan, if you want, I have a spare lightbar (roof rack) & still have the templates for the bracket to fit it to the roof rack. I also still have some of the alu flatbar if you want.

Got too much on at work & at home at the moment. Busy building my decks. This weekend the hot tub needs to go in so I can finish the bottom deck - Then I can finish the fencing at the back. still need to build another two low retaining walls.
