How-to: Installing AC plugs and power inverter. -- DISCUSSION
It has a fuse on it about four inches away from the post. Its from an old stereo wiring kit that came with the radio that my dad put in my mom's cherokee back in 94. lol
im thinking bout doing this but i have one question. Do i have to use a switch or is there a way i could get it to turn on and off with my ignition.
need to have a switch mine i some times have to turn it off then on again...other wise i have to take the dash apart and hit the reset switch. I will take some pictures of my final install nice and clean.
the wires you see at the bottom are not there now this is in a 95 to the left of the ash tray. I also have 1 on the back side of the console for the back seat. my kids play x box and wii on trips keeps em quiet...lol

thats what makes it a custom install do it the easy way for you. anything like that will work me I like having a switch cause if my alt. was to ever fail and i needed to get home I like to be able to turn everything off. I seen a guys truck where he had extension cords sticking out of his carpet looked like **** but he loved it cause he did it him self.
