clarion marine is stupid expensive too. thats why I used car equipment.

if i were gonna drop alot of money into a boat system, id def make sure and get marine speakers. but if your only spending a couple bux on some sony crap, then what they hell.

just doesn't make much sense when you find yourself using the boat 5 or 6 times a year. thats why I didn't get marine, and besides the speakers are really tucked in nice places away from the elements.

It apparently doesn't matter if it's marine or not, not that much anyway. Salt water is a bitch.
