Default Build me a system

I've had systems (pretty much just subs) since I started driving a 7 years ago(I feel somewhat old now lol) and I always so I will take the power wire out and say I wont put it back in im done with them. But I always put them back in. Well I thought I would be happy with what I have now, but Im not.

I decided I want to add a sub to my current setup. What I have right now is stock from speakers (dash and door) Kicker DS 60s in the rear doors, and a Kenwood HU. I have thought about moving the speakers in the rear doors to the front doors since they sound damn good (IMO). But since they are a 2 way speaker I have thought they might have to much trebbile in the front.

So my question recomend me a fairly cheap(havent decided on a price range yet) sub and amp combo. I want something that is not really loud since I am not into that any more. I want something that sounds good and add some extra bass to the stetup. But sometimes there is the times where I would like to have a lot of extra bass, my HU has Subwoofer outputs so I can adjust that if I choose. So what would you suggest, I want to limit it to one sub. I have thought about a Solo Baric 8 or 10 but that would increase the price some. Other than that I dont really have anything in mind.

Hopefully I did a good job of explainiing what I want.

a cvr, or a type R, in nice ported box, with about 4-700 watts would be pretty nice.

I'm very satisfied with my 10" type-r with 350W RMS worth of amp to it, the sub setting on my alpine deck is usually around the +0 to +8 mark (out of +15)... Depending on the song... When I use the media expander function, at non-quiet volumes the bass tends to overpower the rest of the music.. which turns kinda flat with the MX on... but without it, sounds great all around, it's nice subtle sound enhancing bass, for the song, and for those nice bass-filled songs it pumps it out perfectly!

All in all, a mid range setup that's good for easy listening and can still pound wickedly when you want it to...

I've had two 10" Type Rs before I loved them but I dont want to go back since it seemed to be a little bit of overkill for what I want. I'll probably go with the Kickers. I also just heard I might get a sub and a amp from a buddy for free(one friends sub, ones amp, my box) so if that works out Ill just go with that since all I would have to do is buy the power cables etc.

Good thing I only went with one sub, instead of two, then, lol, that, and I still have _some_ cargo space...
