I play the volume soft for a couple minutes and then ease the volume up slowly. I used to cover them with a cheap throw blanket to keep the frost off them while parked, and then remove the blanket when I went to drive You know, back when I was making $130 a week in high school and didnt have the money to splurge on nice car audio, let alone replace them if something went wrong, lol.

Those RE's look good. I've thought about a good 15 or even getting my first 18 from them or FI. I'm really leaning towards a 18, only size sub I've never had. Something diffrent.

Yeah they pound pretty damn good for 'entry' level 10s... I'm planning on doing two more when money allows.

And while we are on the topic, I actually was talking to this with my boss, and his words were, "Oh, thats just a pissing contest" which made me giggle like a girl... because think about it, you can be the loudest **** on the planet and it wont get you much...

Now before I get flamed and (you suck!!!) thrown at me, I understand that its what YOU want and that people are entitled to different opinions, but I agree with mr allcustom... although I would almost wanna add that speaker location can also change the tune quite a bit.... I hate hearing the music behind me in a car.... also, I like the tight subs that hit and you feel them all around, not booming in the truck....

Idk... I just ranted randomly....

I want my system to play this well....

I figured you'd hunt down some of those older JL 18w3's or 18w6's kiddin man.

I love winter more than anyone, but I'm looking foreward to spring cause I've got jobs and people with car audio and $$$ for me. Trailblazer needs wired up, buddy needs doors and pillars installed, I need to run my 1/0 and get some new sub(s). (Moms wanting my Kove armageddon 15 I'm running now, lol). Old manager want's a sat. radio unit installed, little bit of everything.

Hey so I've got a question for you guys, I have a kenwood deck and whenever I turn the volume up to a certain point the deck loses power and resets, do you have any ideas as to why?
