arite what up ppl

i have 2 400w 12's, a 900 w rockford amp, 4 alpine coaxials on the way, but no head unit yettt

now if ne one wants to get rid of a head unit first of all that would be great cuz my budget after ^that is low

but secondly i dont kno how the **** to actually make a system out of these parts?

i ve done some research but still i need some help!

Alright... im sure that the guys here will read this and help ya, but how did you even know what components to purchase if you dont know how to put it together? Just curious since I'm researching all this myself. I put in speakers so far... (Memphis Power Referrence), but nothing else. I wnat to make sure each part compliments the next. So next is a four channel amp, probably also a memphis, just to keep consistancy. then will come a head unit, and MAYBE after that some bass, but thats really down the road. right now just want a nice crisp sound. so then i can start on body work that i need to do. heheh....

 

first tell us what year car or truck that you have, 2 or 4 doors, and then I can dive you step by step instructions to put them all in.

so i had a good idea

 

Hopefully the alpines are 6 1/2's, first start by taking off your door panels. there is two screws under little plate in door pulls. 7mm i think. and then a screw in the door handle itself. there are about 9 clips holding the front doors on, and about 6 holding back doors on. just slip a screwdriver behind door panel and gently pry all the way around the door, releasing the panels. if you break a few, don't worry, you can get 16 new clips at parts store for about 5 bucks. Wire up speakers in doors with these wires found HERE

Secondly, do you have all the necessary hardware to install the amp??? Power wire, remote wire, ground wire, fuse and fuse holder you are going to stick with factory unit for a while, you need a Line output convertor, to tap off the back speakers, or if your amp has speaker level inputs, then you are ok, just have to rund speaker wire from each speaker to the amp. if you are gng to upgrade to an aftermarket HU, then you need a set of RCA's, up to 19.7 feet long, depending on where you are mounting the amp.

Once you have all the necessary hadware, its pretty straightforward. PM me if you need more specific help.

hey man if you still need help i just put a system in my 95 4d blazer

i have a kenwood cd/mp3 player
Memphis 4X6 in the dash
memphis 6 1/2's in the 4 doors.
i have 3 sets of memphis 1in dome tweeters frunt pillors,and behind the frunt seats and behind the rear seats.
I have 2 Memphis M3 DVC 12's
a 800w american Pro 4chanel amp for highs and mids.
a 1400d (1350w) planet audio clas d mono block amp for subs
4 gage power wire with an 300 amp a and l fuse and fuse block from batery
4 gage ground wire from under the rear driver seat. ran to 1.0 frad digital capastor.

I just added a 5 band memphid EQ and a 3 way electronic crossover.


if you are still looking for a head unit dont setel for walmart get one that has frunt rear and sub pre amp outputs
they give you better controll of your sound.
