head unit

Default head unit
I am installing a head unit in myblazer,I have the metrawiring harness and it plugs in and everything works butI am not getting any sound. My truck has a Bose system. I know that most Bose systems have an amp. Is this the problem? And if so where is the amp located?

metra part number 701858. just hook up the blue wire from each harness, and amp will come on. amp location is probably behind glove box.
