Thank you VERY much for taking the time to do this.. you solved a big headache for me as far as how to install a new radio in my recent purchase of a 2001 blazer. After driving little cars (cavalier convertible, pontiac convertible etc....) I'm hooked on this thing, great forum guys and great work!

Actually I do have 1 other question...
I purchased a new head unit and went out to Wal-mart and bought the adapter clip for it. Now that I am thinking about the install, there are 6 speakers to be wired. I am assuming here that the dash speakers are just going to be wired into the front 2, am I correct on this?

2001 Blazer 4dr
Delco stereo I think is the stock with cassette (Why they still make AM/FM Cassette I have no idea)

And thank you for the unbelievably fast reply!

Correct!

It should all be basically color coded with the wiring harness that you purchased. Everything is labeled too. so it should be good.

If ya can solder the wires together, thats what i did and i think it helps greatly with the clearity of the sound. And its stronger also.

Everything went in without a hitch! Fantastic guys! I have 1 question though, is it common for aftermarket head units to protrude <2"? Everything looks fine but I just want to make sure my install was correct.

Thanks,
Dan
