Default How Do I Remove The Headunit

Im currently sitting in my truck and i wanna know how do i take out the stock head unit, its a 95 blazer

First you need to remove the instrument cluster bezel. That is the the plastic piece that wraps around the cluster and holds the left and center heating vents. To do this remove the two screws that are right above the gauges on the dash. They hold the bezel in place. After the screws are out pull the bezel off the instrument panel and remove any connectors attached to it. There will be some clips holding it in some areas so be careful when taking the bezel out.

Once the bezel is out. You will see 4 screws holding the radio in. 2 on the top and two on the bottom. Remove them and pull the radio out. Disconnect the wiring harness and antenna lead from the back of the radio and your done.

It got clipped.

Honestly after that last pic it's self explanatory. Just find the nuts/bolts/screws that are holding things together and take them apart. Reverse when reinstalling.
