Default installing a metra wired fm modulator on a 92 blazer

I plan on installing a metra wired fm modulator on my girlfriends blazer and I would like to confirm the antenna adapters I will need. Do i need a 40gm-10 adapter to connect from the antenna to the input of the modulator and a 10-40gm to connect from the output of the modulator to the input of the radio? Also what would be the best method to connect the power input? Should I use tap splices? Thanks.
