i am very aware that the blazer is not going to do it. but i could get a van on the side and pull it off. As stupid as my post my sound and ignorant i may seem - its because i have trouble verbally explaining my ideas and points. i will get some pics and you may understand what i mean. this was just supposed to be a haha thats funny info thread that has become a debate. Im just saying that those 6 15's will be loud. my blazer will never hit a 178 - and i know this. that was a goal for a career. I am working with my sponsoring shop to build a multi-ton vehicle with cement that will hit those high numbers. when my blazer sees 150's thats it for her. just to clerify.

i am aware, not to sound "All Knowing" or anything, dont get me wrong. there is a lot i have to learn. at the same time there is a lot i already do know. maybe together however, we could design such a massive system that we could all together hit insane numbers - like the 180's. by the way, why hasnt Patrick throuwn in on this one, i excpected Jon and Jag but Pat was supposed to be hear too.

I'm here, been a little wrapped up in my own system. I don't know people with enough cash to hit 170, let alone 180. I am happy shooting for 165 with mysingle 18, I know it can be done, and I am getting together with a very large company deep into the scene, think they had a world record a few years back, and we are gng to shoot for owning the Super Street C class.

i run with MECA, and am going for 155 with my for 12's in Modified 3. the current record is around 156. but its my first time out and im running really really low end stuff. i will most likly hit around low-mid 140's though. my new box is underway nad fiberglass burns. i did it with .75 inch MDF, liquid nailed and 1.5 inch screws every 3 inches then 3 layer fiberglass resign inside, 2 layers resign and matte on the outside, a lil more for cosmetics. then charcoal carpeting. 4 ports all at 57 hertz. box sensativity was estimated by my box design program at around 119 db on SPL.

How does one get sponsered? I'm in a very tricky situation with being overseas military. Any of you guys want to sponser my blazer? I've love to say that I have too much bass. I only have a cheap kenwook stereo, the wife liked it, and 2 12' sony xplods in seperate boxes.

i dont know what to say really, i was just right place right time right setup kinda of thing. im running 4 Lightning Audio 12's that cost $40 each and its loud, but not that loud. i beat a guys 2 15" Power Akoustic ****'s. they were bridged across a 1600 watt Crunch amp at 900 watt rms. im running my super crappy amp and such but i installed it rigt and it ppounds for what it is, plus it doesnt burn up. though i am losing power on the ground wire being so long.

You just gotta run the stuff the company has and compete and all, Write up a proposal and they will judge bout it. I actually have a friend who works at kicker in oklahoma. The answer is prolly no but I can try and ask her what they like to see in a sponsored vehicle over at kicker
