Holy thread revival Batman!
This was when he had the Blazer. That's gone, and same to the Tahoe. Now he has a Regal GS.

See the link below for a harness that will allow you to bypass the factory Bose amp.

ah... maybe i'm finally getting somewhere.. just got a 2000 bravada and i love(ed) my bose system, with 6cd changer, until all but the front door speakers (woofers) went out for no reason. i have been searching everywhere for a frickn answer/help/info as to what the F happened. for all i did find on help sites like fixya..seems to be the amp. i could find a salvaged oem amp, but i can t figure out HOW to get my current amp out to SEE the part number. i could get the changer out... a bitch alone with bolts so close to either side, you almost want to sledgehammer it! got the the entire, except the carpeted piece, beverage/shift console up and off which only gave me a bit more access to the amps plugs. i got the bigger of the 2 out... the smaller one, WONT COME OUT even with a HUGE screwdriver! my hands are cut up from the contortioning i had to do. so i couldnt get to the amp to see the part number. i may have more luck in this forum since it IS pretty much the same vehicle as chevy, tahoe, other gm veh with same features and built on same frame. any idea of the BOSE amp part number? how to get the darn amp OUT? i dont want to change it, it really sounded darn good for what i like... van halen type hard rock...metal.... dave mathews, etc. it had a very nice clean clear sound. any help greatly appreciated. email me or pm me is fine. thanks and i really hope to get this solved!

i noticed after looking at the above wiring diagram... (is it the SAME for 2000 bravada bose system?)..there are 2 other areas that may have caused the amp to shut down all but the front door woofers... i noticed there is a 'splice pak' near the ashtray...and a 'body control module under dash near heater case' ... where exactly are these? does this apply to my vehicle? what are they for and can they be the cause? if so, then i may not have to rip this amp out. cause like i said.. this system was working darn well.. then one day...while driving... the highs(all the other speakers), started to slowly trickle out...going in and out at times... until all that was, and is left, are the front door speakers. thanks for any and all help! i like the steering controls, its the nicest vehicle i ever had, the interior is mint and the system rocked! hope you guys can help. email is [email protected] or pm me here

You need to take out the tray there are 2 screws holding it down at the front of the trayright where the handle snaps in at. Remove those and the tray and you will see an unmarked silver box underneath ITS YOUR AMP there is an extra plug hanging off to hook up more speakers ITS NOT AN RCA PLUG but that is what it is for. I hooked up a small sub to it ITS NOT A VERY POWERFULL AMP it would be better to replace it with an aftermarket amp if you want BIG sound. My sub is only 8 inches and is hidden under rear seat (vibrates seat a little lol) its not the best but its what I wanted.
