Default please help!!! locked radio

i changed my battery earlier today on my 2000 blazer. the radio now says loc. of course i dont have my original book! anyhow from looking on previous posts on here i figured out how to get the 2 different 3 digit codes. i called the 1-800 number and pushed 1 for chevy. then the guy prompt doesnt say anything. im not sure what to do next to give me the 4 digit code to put in my radio. the first time i tried i pushed 220107*. the prompt said it was wrong. the second time i tried 220107#, same thing. the third time i waited to see if the prompt said something and it said it timed out (after about 30 seconds). anyhow, im stuck! i have no clue what to do. its sunday night before christmas and im not sure that ill be able to get a hold of someone at the dealership until wednesday. if anyone could help me, id appreciate it so much!! thanks in advance.

Call 1-800-537-5140, then enter 620529 followed by the # sign. When prompted, enter the 6 digit code from the radio and it will give you a 3 or 4 digit code to enter into your radio. When the correct code is entered, your radio will read "SEC" and work properly.
