anybody out there running the alpine type-E's. i no that they are a low grade sub but also i have not heard an alpine system that doesnt hit. this is the amp im gonna run with them http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...040&tp=115

Theres alot better stuff out there for the money. Give me a budget, space, and what your looking to get out of it and i will try to steer you in the right direction. You most certainly dont want to waste your money on that amp though. The type e's are OK for what they are, but for the price theres MUCH better options. Just tell us what your working with $$$

a buddy of mine was running 6 10" type Es in sealed enclosures in his WRX wagon and was hitting 150db (yes at the dash with a termlab).

i lookin to spend about 450 on a sound system but i want that to include a new headunit, 4 door speakers, sub, and an amp. i have the trunk to work with but i would like to still have room from storage. i carry tools around all the time. i can wire everthing but not to savy on the technical terms of stereo equipment

Ditch the rear speakers, and go with comps. This setup will sound amazing... Then you add a headunit..

AMP

COMPONENTS

The speakers are the most important part, but since your on a really tight budget, you might just want to go with a pair of 6.5 coxials. I dont know your taste (sq or spl) so i cant really offer any other suggestions. But that one 12" will get really low and plenty loud off 600w.

yep, imo the type e is an excellent entry level sub, I ran 1 12 for a while and thought it was great for under $100.

The amp he posted is a 4 channel
