Default Rattle from under wheel after amp install??

today i had bestbuy install a mono amp for me and my bass hits hard and all sounds good but there is one problem. they ran the wire from the battery under the steering wheel which is fine, nothing is visable. but for some weird reason when i accelerate now there is a weird rattling noice from under the steering wheel, and will only happen when i hit the gas. any ideas?? thanks a lot.

sounds like they didnt tighten something down properly or that wire is in there loose and vibrating. Take is back and tell them to look at it

Default RE: Rattle from under wheel after amp install??

I'd take it back and have them look it over but after they fix it I'd steer clear of BestBuy installs, I had them do an alpine install in my 84 Porsche 944 and they did a terrible job took them 4 hours and my Front rear fader acts as my driver passenger balance and on top of all of that crap they wired it in mono so If i fade to the passenger side I get nothing... Really frustrating especially when I had the "master Installer" doing the job who had "Done a million of these already, it shouldn't take more than an hour".... He had no idea what he was doing at all... very Disappointing
