I got the file downloaded but when I burn it to a cd via WMP it says converted then complete and the disc pops out. I am worried it has converted it from a wav file to a wma or mp3 or somthing and if that happened I am not getting the quality I should be getting which would through off my gain setting. How would you burn it if you were doing this?

If you can get it to play it your blazer it'll be just fine.

I also downloaded the 50 hz test tone and burned it via WMP and it converted it automaticly (to what, I am not sure...) When I listened to the file after it was burned I could easily tell the quality loss after ti was burnt. So how do people burn these without loosing the quality?

if you guys just make a data cd, using drag and drop in windows, it will burn as whatever you want it to.

When I got my amp I got a paper that said that my amp is certified to 929 rms not the 750 on the box. Should I set my gain pertaining to the 929 rms or 750?

929. and the target voltage for that is 43.1. I hope thats not too much power for those subs. it might be.

Ok well I just set it for 750 since I wasnt sure at the time. I set it with the HU volume at 28 then I turned it up one (29) and the volatage jumped up to 44. So my question is, will I be damaging anything if I play it above 28?
I downloaded "Bass I Love You" and played it after the settings were correct. The subs sound fine but I have my speakers at the following settings:
Low: -8
Mid: 3
Hi: -9
Yet when I play the song there are certain spots where I think what I am hearing is my speakers distort. Thing is, when they distort in the song its not playing any high notes from what I remember.
