I like your build. Coming along nicely. The canvas top is a good addition to a fun truck like your K5. Makes it more usable at the same time.

If the canvas top you got is a perfect fit it can still be used as a template to make a new one. A patch should do.

The wheels are just fine on that build, and I am a stickler for original restoration too. But then you need to have a set of original wheels first.

Couple weeks ago I found out that for my Alfa Romeo restoration I actually have two sets of original wheels. The cast aluminium ones and even the original set of steel rims.

Nice build, keep going.

Bought a remanufactured steering box ... good grief seems to have a lot of slop ... can’t see that I did anything stupid. ....

SubWoofer box hidden in the side panel experiment ..... cause you know ... Led Zep needs some thumpin'



Haven't really planned out the center console to house all this just yet ... AVH-1440NEX receiver ... the iPhone synch will be a handy modern convenience.
2000W Amp might do the job.
We would have laughed about those kind of numbers 30 years ago.
