I'm interested in where you could go with a skidplate!
I've been tinkering with the idea of taking some sheet metal and bending it to the shape of the stock plastic skidplate and bolting it in

 

Well here is close to the finished product, I feel like it might be missing something, any ideas???

How's the solid axle business coming?

 

Good, working on building up the dana 44, just got the knuckle sent in to get machined. Next I have to break down the dana 60.

You can try editing the post and re adding the pics. But I'm no picture expert.
So your'e gonna go high steer or crossover on your truck? Where did you send it to get milled?

 

High steer, and I sent it to parts Mike to get ball joints and studs put on as well.

 

I'm waiting to SAS my truck until I have another daily driver. But then me and my brother are gonna build it up real nice and beef up his CJ at the same time.
I'm going 44 front and either 60 or 14 bolt rear.
