96 4 door 4x4 Every Day Driver
I Planned for a longer belt and needed it. The Alt from the Tahoe only Had one Power wire and the two wire plug. My Blazer was more complicated. The one wire/4pin plug and two hot wires with ring connectors. One ran into a harness on the way to the Battery and the other two more wires on another ring connector running into another harness back toward the firewall. Rather than deal with a lot of unknown things, I simply added a real fat [#1 I think] Hot wire directly to my battery completing my "Big 3."
No visible increase in voltage and now a minor clicking/whining when I try to switch the A/C on. Gonna drive it around and see if it has any quirks.

Thanx Tajohns
So Far - so good. I was concerened that the wiring may be a problem. The "donor" had two wires from the plug. My Blazer only has one.
My local parts houses only test for "working/not working;" so how much Amperage it can produce is unknown. I am hoping that I can draw a lot from it for lights and spare battery. I guess I won't know until I can get that kind of demand.
