Had the same problem and believe it or not, in my case it was just the dome light fuse! Makes sense right? lmao at least Advance let me return the 4wd switch against their policy. Are your dome lights working?

After having most of the work day to search for parts in the junk yard. I finally decided to do a SFA. I found a couple D35s and 8.8. Has anyone used an axle out of a 2001 f250? We have one that's pretty much cab, frame and axles

I'll be using axles from a 2004 F250. D60 and ford 10.5.. pretty beefy axles, I think there's a chance 2001 has a D50 front. If you can get them for a good price, jump on them. Unless you plan on staying smaller (<37") tires.

edit: looks like 2001 is a D50, they started getting the D60 late 2002.

I'm not too sure what year F250 they came out of. My boss thinks 01. Im only gonna run a 35in tire so either way it should be fine. Im still planning and getting parts right now. I can't start till I get my camaro going. I'm ordering the sky SFA in a couple of weeks along with rancho wagoneer springs. I'm gonna make a custom rear pack from rear 1 ton Chevy springs (thanks to my dad).

I picked up my 2 10" TC Sound subs Saturday and got them wired up. My amp can barely push them. I need to search for a better amp. I also got my drivers window replaced today. Hopefully next week my windshield will get replaced.

Things to do
Finish demolding
Paint z28 wheels
Clear turn signals
Tint
Build a ported box
Tire carrier
Fix rust and dents
New mirrors

I wouldn't run them for only a 35. You lose too much ground clearance with those big axles. 44 would be better. A 30 would be ok, but you'd be at the limit of that axle.

I'll probably go with a bigger with a tire after my too sets of 35s are done for. I'll probably go with a 37 or 38

Well after going through the junkyard today and doing some thinking I decided to run a HP30 axle from a xj we got at the yard. Still debating on if I wanna run a ford 8.8 or zr2 8.5. I plan on keeping my z28 wheels on it. I saw in a thread on s10 forum a guy used s10 wheel bearing on a HP30 axle. Is this true and how can I run one

I'd go with the ZR2 rear. Less work.

You have to have a spacer made that goes between the knuckle and the unit bearing.

Thanks Jamaroon. I remember that thread now. I'll probably go with a ZR2 rear. Just depends on what I can find by next spring. Do ZR5 have the same rearends as the ZR2?
