spark plugs and wires and shes running. Haven't taken her for a ride yet, but eating and then hooking up my sub and amp, then going for the test drive. Calling tomorrow to see if the alternator shop will be open tomorrow. Had to go to canadian tire and do a "curbside pickup" for the parts today. Covid 19 and new standards from the canadian government are stoping us from going into stores now. We have to call ahead or place our order online. Wish I wouldve grabbed them yesterday with the battery.
So we have to stand in line to go into any store, if the store allows people in, but had to get some groceries, and found some goodies for the truck at the same time! 150 for all of it.
Are you referring to my crying stains of rust? Lol yes I've been meaning to do something with that, but haven't had nice enough weather this year yet. Wasnt as bad last year. I will probably try to sand it out and give the door a new coat and clear coat.
I checked back and does mention the RC lift with the front end idler arm issues. I'm more curious about the performance engine issue. I know towed, did cap rotor, thought ok. Later bad again and does battery and alt while wondering about fuel pump. Then shows the plugs- esp number 6 and does a plug/wire job all this time still unknown status on injectors just the mention of slight leak on one. See Don we are trying to keep up. Some might toss the accusation of throwing parts at it without proper diagnostic first. Put me in that group, still wondering. I mean you have now basically replaced most of the "make engine run" stuff other than say one of the sensors or control valves or injectors. Really need to get your own diagnostic ODB tool. Keeping an eye on your post sir. Stay virus free while shopping up there.
I have not gotten my body lift yet, I'm on a budget with the wife and I haven't needed one... up until now. I notice my body mounts are going if not gone in some areas, so will be looking into one over the summer.
as for my running issues, I am down to my leaky 3rd injector. I do use my mechanics fuel gauge and my scanner when needed, and for the throwing money at my blazer, I do sometimes, but for the most part, nothing is changed unless it's broken or could use a change from being 20 years old. The one thing I haven't fully gone into yet is my evap code...
