It took me forever to figure out why the tie rod was hitting and then looked over the lift instructions and seen I didn’t trim enough. It started hitting after I hit a car that ran a yield sign

Default My Saturday.

Last photo is the aluminum sheet I used, cut to size and covered the passenger side hole. I riveted the piece before bondo.

Looks like my truck did last winter when I did the bed liner. The black on the bumper pops off to make painting easier

Yea I know... being lazy... cheap I should say, less surface to cover... lol... I'm gonna have to redo the front when I get the bigger tires. But this way it won't get worst over the winter.

as well I need to reinstall the original door at some point, and I'll have to remove the side mouldings when I do. So might do it proper then... might not... not a show truck so I'm not too worried...

my gfs old s10, I put zr2 fender on the back, fiber glasses them on, then bondo, then painted. Couldnt even tell they were installed afterwards.

If you get any overspray I find brake cleaner works great to clean it up

11 hours later... 9 hours total of work... maybe less... but she's done 2 coats. And the cans where 2x the thickness... 1 can per coat...

I got a 2.5 rough country lift all the way around, and I also have an add a leaf on the rear. Adds about 3" I believe.
