The trans guy called me today, pretty cool older guy. But basically I'm getting a basic upgrade 9 clutches instead of 6 for $650 or big power setup with 9 racing clutches, new sunshell, band, shift kit , servo etc. for $800 so I'm gonna go with the racing clutches of course since I will most likely drop an ls2 In later.I'm gonna squeeze as much money out of this job I got coming up to pay for it.I'll take pics of me dropping the trans and all that if anyone wants to see it.

fixed the headlights needed to reverse polarity and make a more secure connection to the battery and up the fuse from 15 to 20amps,got the correct tccm in 4wd switches are working now but when I put it in 4wd it just blinks I've never had it work but I'm assuming it's supposed to light up solid I don't know I'll search the forums.I'm guessing the encoding motor isn't working if it's not engaging arrrrgh!

Did you read your manual on how to shift the 4 wheel drive system? Blinking is normal. There are steps to follow to do it correctly.

well I don't have a manual I never did just like I have never had the 4wd working. The 4wd no worky thread on here says that if the 4hi and 4lo and 4auto blink it's supposed to tell the driver it's not working cuz mine blink the whole time but when I switch to 2hi from 4hi,low,or auto the 2hi turns solid and i get a good click if the 4wd buttons are supposed to blink thats a really annoying feature...lol

Truck looks great, and to work the 4wd: you can go from 2wd to auto or 4 hi while driving up to 50 mph. To go into 4lo you need to be in neutral and going no faster then 5 mph. If you hear the actuators going but it still is not engaging you may have a faulty encoder motor since you already replaced the TCCM. Good luck and keep us informed on the out come.
