I find it to shift faster to 4wd hi or lo when it's in neutral

 

okay my 4wd is engaging , but now the service 4wd light is on. what triggers that to come on?also the lights on all 4wd buttons still blink after engaging I'm sure some maintenance has to be done besides my cv joint boots.

 

i can't help you with your 4x4 seeing as how i'm a lowly 4x2.

you have a great looking truck there. the ls2 sounds like a great idea and they sound mean. my brother has a GTO and they sound amazing...

 

usually when the light comes on it has something to do with your vacuum line. you may have a leak if it sounds like its trying to engage. I noticed it comes on when the buttons aren't plugged in the whole way one of the clips is broken on mine and it sometimes decides to come loose and my light comes on

 

I had a 2005 gto with full exhaust,intake and tune I ****ing loved it!everybody thought it was cammed because of the spintechs.Thats why i want that ls2 back...I miss it!

haha. yeah, they're nice. brothers has an LS block bored to 6.7 putting 500ish at the wheels.. full custom car. its amazingly fast and fun. anyways....


I know Derek, blazerguy2001 had a problem with his 4x4 not staying engaged (lit the whole time) and it ended up being a bad hose.
