are you talking about the small one on the firewall?

 

Mine's on the drivers side fender.

Hey bud, I was wondering if you had a write up or some tips on how to do the eletric vac switch & where you bought it? I'm thinking about doing that instead of the pos-lock mod when I swap in a blazer front diff.

 

Im going to be doing a full write up on it once i complete it.

Well I got the solenoid all hooked up thanks to Thogert.

He sent me a package of goodies from the pick and pull... The pigtale I needed for the solenoid and some other stuff like leds for my taillight project and an hazard switch for my dads truck.


here is a picture of the solenoid.


All wired up and it works wonderfully. I will be doing a DIY write up on this.
Also the Driver side window came off the track today SO I fixed that and never got to wiring up the power block. (maybe tomorrow I will)

The led taillights wont continue till winter when im free and sitting inside staying warm.

 

SO I wired up the power block and completed nothing........ Only 1 terminal on it works.....

They all worked before installing.... Im not going to go nuts with it .Im just going to find a replacement for it. I cleaned each terminal and nothing ... I checked if the circuit is closed with the meter and it was not so there is something wrong.



Im just currently fed up with this bad luck ****.

 

Do you have a rubber isolater or anything anywhere or is it grounding to the truck?
