Here is one I found that matches on Amazon. Sure looks the same but you might be able to find a number on it to make sure.

I thought the same thing when I was about to take that one photo of the steering box and noticed it is original for that front axle.

I would move the tow hoops and do something like diamond plate across the top of the rear to box in the frame to finish it off. I ordered this step in from summit and did a drop to lower it [ pic during building drop] - My rear spoiler is at 4ft so a step is a plus and as my gas tank is back there even tho it wouldn't stop someone rear ending me it makes a good bump stop.

Get that hood scoop off that car My brother, rest his soul, mounted a Mazda of some sort of model, I forget, on top of a blazer frame back around 1990 and he was so pleased and excited to show it off to me and we jumped in and he drove it down his hill and into the shallow river or creek and drove upstream one way and back and back up the hill. I just got the feeling we were going to drop off the deep end or into a hole any minute, but we survived. It was so cool!!

BTW, for a better photo, I had my NORMAL sized 15" tires mounted on my 15" X 6" rims and lucky me, I had 2" to spare to roll it into my garage for now before taking it to my shop out back to start the resurrection........

As far as the scoop goes I wish I could. V8 with a carb is just too high, without a air cleaner the hood will shut with about a inch + or - too spare. Any type of air cleaner esp the large a$$ Eldebrock is part way thu the hood

That seems to be the case as I get closer to cracking this case!! I was having no luck at the Land Cruiser forum so I googled Toyota RN as the first two letters of the code because I noticed Toyota used FJ as in FJ40~ or FJ80~ etc. for their Land Cruisers, and instantly got Toyota 4 Runner coming up!!! It also uses what looks like the same type of frame and has that Winch protector out front as well. I'm off to finish this hunt once and for all!! Maybe there was a model RN101 4 Runner! !!
