Flowing a gas (air or refrigerant) is different than flowing a semi-viscous fluid like ATF. If the passages are considerably smaller than that found in a purpose built transmission cooler, it can lead to more restriction. Obviously, if there are a lot more of those passages, it will cut down on the flow rate through each passage thereby reducing the restriction (friction loss), but still, it's something to be aware of.

I had coolant coming out from the dash from above the passenger footwell and steam coming out of the vents this morning. I think it's time to have a look at the heater core...
I really think my Blazer hates me. Everything was fine and now everything brakes down...

Had some PVC floor left from our house, so i thought why not to use it? Then i made a slide for my cooler:

Then i started organizing my pile of recovery gear:

Finished:

Also did some testing for hot water for the shower, but didn`t get the result i wanted...

Started with my laptop mount today...
Driver and passenger legs. Driver side was a bit tricky...
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_8100q7fz.jpg)
Tacked together:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_8104u7gl.jpg)
In the car:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_8105972m.jpg)
Added a bar to the dashboard:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_810717nx.jpg)
Start of the laptop mount:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_8110c7vo.jpg)
Connected:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_811297wd.jpg)
Almost finished:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_8115s7g8.jpg)
Added some edge protection:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_8119d7sk.jpg)
Finished:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_812387ji.jpg)
My command center. Another gps unit is still missing...

![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_8133e7n4.jpg)
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_8137r72l.jpg)
Here you can see how close everything is on the driver side mount:

I`m really happy how it turned out. The mount doesn`t block the sight or hinder with anything in the cab...

Mounted some LED fogs for campsite lightning today:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_8138cq9z.jpg)
Switch:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_8139xosq.jpg)
On:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_81419q6y.jpg)
After that pic i flipped the mounts to make it look better:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_81477oxb.jpg)
These lights are pretty bright and only draw about 60mA each...
Also made a mount for the showerhead:
![](http://www.abload.de/img/img_8143asxi.jpg)
Plenty of hose left:
