Well i changed the rear springs around... again lol.

The 63" chevy 1 ton leafs used in my rear pack ride rough as hell. Also they don't have as much arch as the s10 springs, so when flexed they would fan out giving practically no support to the main leaf... this is real bad and could have bent my mains pretty easily off road.

I still wanted a setup that would keep axle wrap under control, so this it what i came up with.

z85 (stock) main leaf, superlift long AAL, Zr2 2nd, Zr2 overload.

Ride is smoother... and actually wraps up less then with the 1 tons. I think that has a lot to do with the spring clamps in the front and the rear of the overload.

did ur driveshaft have to be swapped. i installed a set of z85 leaf pack with add a leaf from a s10 pick up and it lifte4d my 4 door alot and moved the rear axle back a inch causing the slip yolk to move farther out of the transfer case.

Thanks guys

Gitch, Look into a 2 piece rear driveshaft from a 2wd extended cab pickup (just the rear section). It is about 1.5 inches longer than a 4 door shaft. You'll just have to swap on your stock slip yoke and it will bolt up.

1. Front axle came from Craigslist, rear came from the junkyard

2. $150 & $200 (plus about double that each to rebuild them LOL)

3. Stock width

Read the stickies here... should answer a lot of questions
