posting from the waiting room at the tire place. and yeah, white letters in, the black side is in much better condition too.

just got the first two done and loaded in the back. they put the weights on the inside lip so they don't show which is awesome. the machine did lightly scratch my DIY paintjob but that's no big deal. may end up doing a body color pinstripe around the lip

I can barely turn. Cranked the tbars and they helped some but it looks like I'll be cutting tonight

I only paid $200 for these and I thought that was a steal, free would have been awesome. The body lift should help put help you a lot. I may end up having to do a body lift as well. I already have my tbars cranked but as you can see below, there's still plenty of rubbing on the fender.

I cut a couple small portions off (all that I could manage without taking the wheel off) and it helped some but I'm definitely going to need to cut more. With finals coming up, I probably won't get a chance to work on it until friday. Have to put the old wheels/tires back on until I can get more cut off.

Also, does anyone know what the bolt with the blue arrow is in this pic? It's kind of in the way of where I'll be cutting so I need to find out whether its critical or if I can cut

The green lines are the outline of what I cut off so far

Turning is overrated

I'm curious about fender trimming, too. I see lots of people on the forums have done it, but I can't really find any good closeup pics to see how much they cut.

Lookin nice man. Will tell you now, you WILL need a body lift. Even with trimming you will rub on the top of fender and just about every friggin where else. Even then longer bump stops are recommended (the tires have a wonderful habbit of grabbing the top lip of the fender and trying to unfurl it).

As for the cutting, you sure you need to cut back where the bolt is? Mine i trimmed back just a little bit and I still have that bolt there. I did however cut the metal inner fender and rolled the end back under itself. If ya dont do that like the top of the fender the tires will try and unfurl the thing the wrong way.

That bolt is what holds the lower portion of the front fender in place. If you cut that out, nothing will hold the fender in.

I'm lovin' the new Stance. Looks real clean too without any moulding on it.
