I opted to not add cross bars and just run the two parallel bars instead. I figured with the roof rack it ties both sides together anyway and it's not like I'm going to put anything crazy heavy up there either. So it's more than adequate for my needs. I had some gasket maker laying around so I put that around the bolt holes to make sure nothing leaks and bolted it down tight. They don't look like it in the pics but I made sure I took the time to make the bars level side to side.

For the rack drilled a hole in the bars and ran a bolt through at each corner and bolted it down. I didn't take pics but I think it came out nice and clean and is good and secure.

Thanks to all the time I spent building wire harnesses in the past when the roof rack was ripped off it just came unplugged without damaging any wires so all I had to do is plug it back in and I have roof lights again.

Thanks guys!

Got some new shoes today!!

According to a tread depth gauge they are half tread. I think I got a good deal at $300 for the set of four I'll get them mounted next week. I'm just happy to have real tires lol!

As much as I dislike AT's, I dislike MTR/K's even more. Knew one guy that ran them on his jeep and I was not impressed, he punctured 2 sidewalls and the tread got chewed up pretty bad.

But this was mainly playing in the rocks, so with that said I hope they work out better for you than they did for him, he's running a swamper of some sort now.
