That snapped off roof rack scares me a bit since I mounted my custom one I built recently in a similar fashion!! So Hurry and mount one directly to the roof so I have some ideas to save myself before I have a "casualty" as well! Hahaha. Also looking forward to your winch mount since a friend and I were just talking about how we could fab up a mount system for one today...

Well I just made it through all 68 pages.. whew! All I can say is keep up the good work! You are an inspiration.. I love how your blazer has turned out and following the transformation has been awesome! I take it you like those Pro Comp lights? I've been eyeing them for my 98 for a while now. Any pics with them all on?

Thanks Guys! I actually have no complaints about these lights what so ever. They have great output and are rather cheap at $20 a piece. I have compared them next to a friend with four 100w KC's on his jeep and they are just as bright for a fraction of the cost! Heres a couple pics of the light for you I thought I had them somewhere on here already but I couldn't find them. I don't have any with the pillar flood lights yet 1 because I haven't driven the truck in the dark since I took the pics below (a yr ago lol) and 2 because I have been to cheap/lazy to get what I need to wire them up. I actually took them off of my truck for now as to not be a "poser" like many of the jeeps I see with crap added but not hooked up or functional lol.

Factory Hi beams

I got ambitious and got a bit of work done today. Worked on the sliders I capped of the ends one of them with an angle. The angle should help to slide over rocks and branches and such. I'm happy with how it turned out. Now all I have to do is get some steel and make the feet to mount to the frame. I also started working on the passenger side but I only managed to get one leg tacked on.

I'm happy with how they're turning out. I just wish I had more time to get more work done on them but little by little they are getting done!

Yeah they are for rocker/lower body protection. Mine will also double as a step once phase two is complete on them

Thanks! Make sure you start a build thread if you start modifying your Blazer
