Yeah it's sucked not being able top drive it but there's is finally light at the end of the tunnel! I'm going to leave the axle where it is for now and leave the 1410 yoke on it. I talked to my local shop and they are going to build me a complete shaft with the 233 yoke on one end and 1410 joint at the other to the length I need for $260. By the time I swap yokes and have my factory shaft lengthened it's going to cost close to that if not more anyway.

My reasoning being this decision is rather simple when I do the stretch and 40s I'll build a doubler and have the tcase end of the shaft adapted to fit the doubler when the length is adjusted. Either way it's going to have to change so I'm going for simple now lol! I'll get the case pulled and swap shafts and get the 231 back in for a final time with the 233 rear shaft then just gotta get a measurement and have the shaft made.

I saw a blazer this weekend that looked just like yours.

My boy called it a monster truck, he was excited about it.

I didn't expect traffic to be that horrendous in Maryland. I got stuck in an accident on 695 and 495. As soon as I hit Virginia it was smooth sailing. I might have to come raid your parts pile again ☺. I could have come yesterday but I was getting my teeth drilled.

Let me know what you need! Mondays are usually always good for me since I'm at work all day. Next time the blazer should be ready to roll and we can go get a bit dirty if your up for it!

Sounds good to me. I just took 1 1/2 weeks off for vacation so it might be a while before I can take another Monday off. I'll let you know.

^ that's hilarious!^

Not a huge update but I got the rear shock mounts welded on and then flexed it it a bit too see how the new springs and shackle mods worked out and wow do I have so much more travel in the rear now! I'm going to have to do some surgery on my bumper but that's alright. I didn't get around to pulling my tcase this week mostly cause I spent the afternoon today when I planned to do it fishing instead.

I also did some eBay shopping and picked up new synergy poly motor and trans mounts. I got all the pieces for $91 shipped so I'm pretty stoked about that deal.

Here's one for the trans mount Energy Suspension 3 1129R Transmission Mount Red Zinc Finish | eBay

The motor mounts were from a private seller and I offered him $50 and he accepted.

I was pleasantly surprised when all of my mounts showed up today!
