Did you use relays with the old setup ?

 

HAHA yeah I spent two hours just wiring up the front two lights today in the cold! I like things to be tidey and neat so that way I don't have to worry about messing with them later on. Kinda one of those do it right the first time kinda guys lol.


Shrink tuding FTW!! I love that stuff I use it on all of my wiring projects. Its just so much easier and cleaner looking than electrical tape.

 

Yeah I had a 40amp in there but I snatched it and used it on the front lights for right now rather than spending the couple dollars on a new one. When I rerun the wires up top I'll be sure to use one as well. I've done a bunch of reading and now I understand them and the requirements to properly utilize them (not that there is much to know) lol. I mounted it next to the battery this time rather than leaving it bouncing around inside my dash like I had it before oops. I'm looking into building a power distribution block under the hood just to help simplify things in the future and make it look purdy!

 

Im the same way Rex. Do it right or dont do it at all.

I have a power block too... But its not working correctly. I might change it out with a fuse block.

 

I used to slack and cheap out on things alot when I was younger and I found myself just having to redo things alot so I started taking my time and doing it right and life has never been better lol. That doesn't mean I don't spend countless hours searching for the cheapest deal on good things though!

 

i like them bitchen tow hooks, i sure hate the factory 3 piece bumper.

 

I agree I was planning to swap the bumper to a two piece but I like it now I will build a real bumper soon though!
