Played with some chemicals in preparation for the build today


Gonna strip them and paint them black.

 

Hope you're wearing some PPE with that stuff....

 

Rubber gloves and safety glasses. I'm using it outside so there's plenty of fresh air. I did manage to get two stripped and a few coats of black on them. Hopefully I can sand them out tomorrow and get some final coats on them.

Looks like crap in the pic but better in person and that's why I'll be sanding them out

Yup that's how it goes!!! Scary part is I have so much still planned once I get this SAS done I WILL do the V8 swap next winter and then there are a ton of other smaller things I am planning as well it will truely never be done.
