More parts and a little more progress today!!
All the rear brake components along with the front pads.

and I got the front hubs and rotors pressed together.

And a quick test fit of the rear disk swap revealed that I didn't do enough research and I am going to have to get creative with this disk swap I didn't think about the fact that the disk swap kits are made to be used with the full float axles and not the semi float like I have. I am waiting for a response but I think I am going to have to cut my brackets and mount them on the back side of the axle flange for them to work properly. Hopefully I can figure this F-up out and get this thing buttoned up in a day or two.

The rear rotors on early 2000s Sierra/Silverado 1500HD/2500LD are about the same diameter and width as you are probably looking for. They had a 14SF in them. Gives you the option of ebrake too with a little work.

Well I may have the issue sorted out! I have two options 1. Machine the axle flange to fit inside the rotor hat 2. Cut my caliper bracket and mount it on the back side of the axle tube flange and then weld in place once proper function is determined. I am going to see what it will cost to have the axle flanges machined down first as this is the easier way in my eyes. Man I wish I still had access to all the equipment I is when I was a machinist!!! Hopefully all goes well or I think I will just look for a FF axle and get what I can back out of this one.

On a brighter note I've got about 10 minutes worth of grinding and cleanup on the 44 and I will be able to put some paint on it. Should have it put back together by Friday afternoon!

I just re-read your post and used my brain to actually think about what you said lol!! I am going to stop at advance and check this out tomorrow and see if that rotor might work. Thanks for the heads up!

Got a bit of progress made today on the 44. All un-needed brackets are cut off and cleaned up, painted and one side is put back together. I'm waiting on a couple spindle studs to arrive before I can put the other side together.

I am going to pull the caliper and get it painted yet but I wanted to get to this point and make sure I wasn't forgetting anything.

Hopefully the rest of my parts will be in tomorrow and I can get it the rest of the way back together!

Well I have my solution to my 60 its a new Chevy 14bolt!!! Picked it up today and got started on the tear down. I will order the disk brackets yet today and everything else that I already had for the 60 will work on the 14b with the exception of the ubolts. I am going to call on Monday and see if I can send these back and exchange them for some 14b ubolts. I picked it up for $200 so if I figure in the cost of having the 60 gears installed and setup I'm going to come out way ahead since I will be able to do these myself.
