i had to use an 88 camaro manifold on the drivers side and i believe its a 90s g-van manifold on the passenger side. I did have to cut off the shock mount on the passenger side though. Still gotta fab up a new one.

I would have some pics but its at the shop right now. I needed to get it up on a hoist to do a few things. It runs a lot better now that i got the timing set and a few other things adjusted. I left a few black patches in the parking alot. cant wait for it to be done it was a lot of fun driving around the lot. The fuel cell mounts will be done in the morning. Then all i have left is mounting in the electric fans and weld up a shock mount. I plan on trailering it back home tomorrow.

ok heres the pics i promised. As you probably figured its a tight fit. There is only about 2.5 inches between the radiator and the water pump. In the 3rd pic is off the new shock mount i had to make since i had to cut the old one off to clear the exhaust manifold. It still needs a little more welding then some paint. The 4th pic is of the 20gal fuel cell mounted up under the truck. The last pic is the fuel pump which is mounted on the crossmember in front of the fuel cell.

I still have a good amount of work to do this week. Im taking it up north this weekend for the official test. I had a single 14in fan in there but it would keep it a 210 only at idle. If i held it around 1500rpm the temp started to climb. I imagine it would be even worse once i get the hood put back on. So i returned that fan and ordered two 12s. I should have them tuesday and be able to get them in that night.

I will have some videos of the blazer in action after this weekend. Still have a few minor issues but it does run and drive. Heading up to my usual trails after i get out of work.

What motor mounts did you use and did you use stock throttle cable?

i got mine pretty much wrapped up, sending it to get the exhaust done this week. but my throttle cable seems to short now.

Sorry to disappoint you guys but i have no videos or pictures to show you. The weekend was a complete waste of a trip. The snow was way to deep where we went and we spent the whole afternoon saturday getting stuck and unstuck. The restuck again. It was fun for the first hour. After that it wasnt. We finally gut unstuck and back to the main road around 11:30 saturday night. Then went to a buddies property 10miles south of where we planned on camping. Sunday morning we packed everything up and tried to leave. The blazer was on the trailer behind my 05 silverado and we started heading up the road. Came to a hill and almost made it to the top but the tires started spinning. Ended up sliding 50ft backwards down the hill with the truck and trailer brakes locked up. I think we were picking up speed. The trailer started going off the trial and up an incline. Which finally stopped us. The trailer was on such and angle the only thing holding the blazer on was the straps. Ended up having to call a tow truck to pull me up the hill.

I would have a few pics but the memory card on my phone decided to take a $h!t and i lost everything on it. Im glade i posted most of the motor swap pics on here cause those all would have been gone. Still lost a bunch though.

Here is a pic i got from a friend of the truck and blazer after sliding down the hill
