Yeah I know what you mean. Always a pain in the a$$ finding anything of value that you actually need or what. Or worse you'll find great prices on what you want when you don't have then money and then when you do, you can't find it for anything less than you could get it new some places on the net

Well I got all the Blue LEDs in so I will be able to install all of those here shortly, and I was able to complete an AD244 alternator swap (turns out the belt is easy to find, just need to use the belt from a 97 4.3L Blazer since it already uses an AD244) and battery reference mod this week. Slow progress but it is getting there

35 bucks. But that's cause I just swapped in a stocker from G&T salvage (test good on all tests) for now, the old alternator was acting up a bit (got it tested after putting the AD244 in and sure enough, failed all the tests.) before I started this whole project so I figured I would at least put in something better than another stock one for the hopefully very short term. Money has been tighter than expected the last couple weeks so I haven't been able to buy the alternator, battery and a few other parts. I wouldn't have bought those Nerf bars if it was such a good deal for them.

I am looking at getting either a 200A ad244 from NAPA (the local warranty is nice, $250 price tag aint bad either) or a 250A ($410) from Alternator man in Comstock. Either one will give me better Amps at idle than the damn CS130(D). And its an easy conversion. Just need a larger belt that's it.

Where did you get your alternator from? I mean I know its only 20 amps, but for the same priced shipped, it will probably be worth it. And I should have 200 dollars here hopefully by the end of tomorrow to see about picking up a battery. So I will probably PM you for that.
