Project: It's about time.
#161
Sorry guys, the leds will have to wait until I get a new tip for my soldering iron. It's hard to solder with a tip in the shape of a U
In the meantime I wired my fogs with a relay finally. I did it to use a switch I liked better.
Here is the old switch (on the left in my hand)
And the new one.
The left little one is for the fogs, and the right one is a SPDT switch for having the rear lights either: A) Come on with the reverse lights. or B) Turn on or off full time. (It's not wired up yet.)

How did you bend your tip??
#163
I didn't bend it, it looks like it has melted. I'll see if I can get a pic of it.
#164
How the heck did you manage that? Sheesh

I have no idea.
So I've decided that when I get my replacement ballast from DDM (one died on me) I'm not putting it back in the headlights. I'm going to put them in one of my sets of off-road lights.
I'm saving up for projectors from the same place I got the ones for the bike. But I'm going with bigger ones because I have just a little more space for them in the blaze.
Here are the ones I want.

Nice, I like the black in the housings.
Ok I just bought the housings with the clear lenses I'm going to use.
They are made of metal and glass so they will take the heat of the 55w hids.
