Payday came and new parts are on the way

Found a set of Bravada Switch housings for the Power locks/mirror's for the driver/passenger side. and an Ashtray liner, seller is called s10warehouse on Ebay, i got the last set of Switch housings but the ashtray liners are still in stock.

Also finally ordered the Leaf spring shackles, but since im contending with possible frame damage that will be a later project.

Did the swaybar endlinks and was painfully reminded of the dislocated axle, as far as i can tell the drivers side spring has a twist that i cant get rid of so its going in the pile once i have a pair of new springpacks.

Finally put a factory 190* Tstat in it, and a new CTS, runs like butter cold hot or anywhere in between.
had to remove the Steering intermediate shaft to get to it (CTS), its on the drivers side head behind cylinder 3, good thing its spent most of its life in the south. Also flushed the coolant since it looked like chocolate water (after 80 MILES), picked up a spare axle cable housing and a new fuel tank rollover vent that i'll get to fixing eventually.

i think i've done all i can drivetrain mechanical wise, Exhaust leak i cant fix as even with a 2 ft 1/2in breaker bar cant break anything loose down there, going to have a shop do that. So - Time to start waking up other parts of the truck, First being the Windshield wipers, they worked when it was parked but 3 years later and the rear wiper sticks every other swipe and the front ones don't react at all. Overhead console is dead - also worked when parked, And the front doors are horrible. This is an Abuse Restoration project, So as long as i dont go over sticker price im under budget (32,500 in 1999)

(Does that oil pressure look a c-hair too low?)

Soo, i ****ed up. Or more specifically i blame california for this.

That, is the Passenger side Checkvalve on my 99 Trailblazer. Being part of the California emissions package as far as im aware of (K18 RPO Air injection pump). my truck already had an exhaust leak, and i had a gut feeling to turn off the metal on the radio (wherever i may roam was the song, had it cranked) and i noticed the exhaust note was different, almost like it was running open manifolds even though the leak was at the catalytic converters forward flange...

I knew what it was as soon as i heard it, and i have never parked a vehicle so roughly and quickly as i did then and never will have to again hopefully. Does anyone have a schematic of this harness (main engine harness, passenger side where it goes down to the airbag sensors, K18 pump and the alternator) and what wire gauges are in it? going to get some 1 inch splitloom and the right gauges of wires and repair the harness as replacing the entire main engine harness is a task i lack the money, time, and sheer brass ***** to do currently. (truck was running when i parked it. so it did not get into the harness too badly, no lights on dash save for fuel light)

TL;DR I Blame california for nearly setting my truck on fire, if the valve blew a c-hair of a second earlier i would be staring at a monolithic piece of molten steel. And yes, those hose clamps were very loose, previous owner repair it seems like. this had happened once before but i cant tell if the second spot i found is new or not. it looks very dusted over so i dont think it was recently melted in that patch, the spot i pictured though was a repair i did because the wires were way out of the loom for some reason, so i know that damage is new

i've also ordered a 5lb Class A,B,C Fire extinguisher to carry on my rig as 48$ of cheap insurance, along with parts to repair this mess.

Me too no way that I'm riding that rebuilt Alfa Romeo without a fire extinguisher.
