Default More work done

I did a bit of work on her tonight, did a bit of prep work on the plastic box pieces and the door and bottom on the rockers, not preaty but it's just prep lol.

Sanding sucks lol

Primed and ready for more sanding...

A start to fill the bigger spots

Ready for fine sand and clear coat

wife just wants the major stuff gone and it all to be white. So shes good with the "make it look preaty" lol.

Default Slow progress

Added some white coats in preparation for clear coat blessings, and left the bondo to sand so I can follow the body line at the bottom(curves inwards a little). Placed the plastic pieces to see the progress, bolting down and such tomorrow. Not going for show finish, just cover and go kind of thing. Would be a different story if I had a garage to work in lol.

and also came home with this today, needs the arms to hold it up, and a new lock, a little bondo to fill some holes where the spoiler was, and white paint.

Needs love, but solid

Is it bad to call it my MJ door?

Plastic pieces placed for looks

For comparison

Default Small update

So.... I'd rather change front door pins once a month for the rest of my life, then to have to change that rear door again!... those darn pins are so hard to get out, it took me 1/4 of the time and 1/10 of the effort to put it back on, being careful. Not so much on the uninstall.

Kept the original pins, door skin and seat belt.

Going to look good when its done.

Got the extreme door installed on the drivers side with new pins. Both doors line up great and seal amazin... I have to transfer a rubber seal from the original door to the extreme door. I'll post pics of the difference tomorrow, but now she has tinted windows and both working. Put on the zr2 door skins because theres less fabric to clean and liked them better. Hopefully finish it up tomorrow... so itll be a long day.

Wife told me she has a shake, while accelerating above 40km/h to about 100km/h. It wasnt too bad a few days ago, but has gotten worst.

so I'll be checking the double u joint setup that's there... I'm thinking, and a conversation with the mechanic after a test drive and inspection, looks like I'll have to rebuild to ujoint setups. It's a 2 piece axle with a double u joint like on the k5s.

I'll snap some pics over the weekend when I take a closer look.
